Taxes and Duties policy

Taxes & Duties Policy

  • Taxes and Duties may be levied once a international shipment reaches the recipient's country. All charges for customs clearance might change from country to country and must be fulfilled by the sole recipient. Pica-Gear has no control over these charges, nor can Pica-Gear predict what they may be.
  • It's at the charge of the customers to handle the products that are confiscated by the Customs in customers' countries. You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Pica-Gear is not responsible for products being confiscated by the Customs in customers' countries. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
  • Customs offices in some countries require the importer of record to provide a particular form of identification before releasing a shipment. You may be required to provide an identification number such as a Unique Identification Number, CPF, or Tax ID.
